Why choose Kite and Bloom?

There's no shortage of printables online. Most were made to be sold. These were made to be taught — written for a real class, used with real students, and revised after the parts that didn't work. What you download is the version that survived.

Made by a Teacher, for Teachers

Created by an Ontario educator who’s been teaching in the classroom since 22, these resources are made for what teaching actually looks like — busy days, different learners, changing plans, and never enough prep time. Every resource is practical, curriculum-connected, and designed to keep students engaged without adding more to your plate.

Less Prep. More Teaching.

Skip the Sunday-night resource hunt. Lessons, activities, student pages, visuals, and supports are organized and ready to go, so you can spend less time piecing things together and more time actually teaching.

Made to Flex With Your Classroom

No two classes are the same. Use a resource as a full lesson, a unit guide, a small-group activity, a review, or a starting point for your own ideas. Buy it once, keep it in your teacher toolkit, and come back to it year after year.

A bit about me

My name is Cassandra Kelly.

I'm an Ontario educator with 10 years of classroom experience and counting. Over the years I’ve learned that some of the best learning happens when students are given the chance to think deeply, create boldly, and see themselves in what they’re learning.

I’m Canadian-born with Trinidadian and Guyanese roots, and so much of who I am finds its way into my teaching — a love of culture, community, storytelling, adventure, and bringing people together.

One of my biggest passions is helping students build critical-thinking and entrepreneurial skills. I love showing kids that their ideas have value and that they’re capable of creating, problem-solving, designing, and thinking like entrepreneurs from a young age.

I’m beginning an exciting new chapter as a Teacher-Librarian, where I get to bring together so many of the things I love — literacy, creativity, STEAM, inquiry, entrepreneurship, and creating spaces where students want to learn. It has also inspired me to develop practical, engaging resources for teachers and librarians who want to freshen up their classrooms, libraries, and everyday teaching without spending hours starting from scratch.
